It feels incredibly surreal to say this, but my debut cookbook, HORMONE HEALTHY EATS: 100 Recipes To Balance Your Hormones, Support Your Cycle + Feel Your Absolute Best is officially out in the world!!!
There are so many things I want to share — I almost don’t even know where to start. But I think perhaps I’ll start with the WHY.
Why I dreamed of creating this book. Who I hope it helps (spoiler alert: you) and how I envision it supporting you, wherever you’re at in your hormone health journey.
For over a decade, I struggled with symptoms that are (unfortunately) incredibly common among women — painful, irregular periods, mood swings, acne, anxiety, digestive issues, hair thinning, sleep challenges and stubborn weight gain.
Like many women, I was told this was simply “normal.”
It wasn’t until I returned to school to study women’s hormone health and earned my accreditation through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition that I understood these symptoms were signals of hormonal imbalance — often rooted in undernourishment and chronic dietary restriction.
Having grown up in the height of diet culture (hello 90’s!), I spent years under-eating, overtraining (like, for full on marathons), and relying on ultra-processed “low-calorie” foods (Lean Cuisines, Luna Bars + Kashi Go Lean Crunch who remembers?!).
While I maintained a certain appearance, my health deteriorated. Learning that consistent nourishment is foundational to hormone function changed everything.
Instead of restricting, I began adding nutrient-dense, hormone-supportive foods and aligning my meals with the phases of the menstrual cycle. The results were profound: consistent cycles, diminished PMS, improved digestion, stable energy and mood, clearer skin, restored hair health — and eventually, three natural pregnancies after years of irregular cycles.
That personal transformation led me to open my practice, So Fresh N So Green, where for the past decade I’ve helped women rebalance their hormones through practical, food-first strategies.
Now, I’ve distilled that work into HORMONE HEALTHY EATS, a cookbook designed to make hormone-supportive eating accessible, evidence-informed, sustainable and delicious — without restriction or extremes.

My mission is to shift the narrative from deprivation to nourishment and empower women with tools they can implement immediately to begin to experience their bodies in a different (i.e. more loving, attuned, supportive) way.
